Bright Summery Scarf!

White Pants: American Eagle // Scarf: Target // Pink Tank Top: (sold out), also love this one // Wedges: Franco Sarto (old), similar here

I can't believe how beautiful the weather has been this weekend! It seems like those days are far and few between anymore, so yesterday my best friend and I packed up and headed to the beach! It was so nice to unwind from the long week and finally get somewhat of a tan!! On our way, we decided to stop at Target for a few snacks and some sunscreen, but we ended up spending wayyy more time than intended (what a surprise, lol!) and we didn't actually get to the beach for an hour and a half later than what we planned for!

This time around, Target had SO many adorable scarves and tote bags for summer. It seemed like there were a lot of sparkles and neon, tribal-y prints, which I love!! I found this adorable scarf hanging on a mannequin right as we walked in, and it is easily one of the most wearable and eye-catching scarves I own! I knew right from the second I spotted it, that I would be pairing it with my white skinny jeans. It looks more off-white because of the lighting in the photos, but it is actually pure white with the neon print around the edges. This scarf would also look adorable as a swim suit cover up!

Later today, I am headed to visit my alma mater for a few days and I cannot wait to be back! I am just hoping that I will get there in time to turn on the Miss USA pageant-will anyone else be watching?! Louisiana, Ohio, and California are my favorites!!

Have a blessed Sunday and as always thank you for reading!!

Favorite Off-the-Shoulder Top + Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!!!

Off the Shoulder Top: Target // Skirt: Red Dress Boutique // Nude heels: Nine West, almost identical here // Earrings: Kendra Scott

I think it is safe to say that off the shoulder tops are my ultimate favorite trend for this summer. I think the reason I love them so much is because they are super feminine! They really accentuate the collar bones which are one of the most feminine parts of a female's body. I have recently purchased several different off the shoulder tops, however I love this white lace one because it goes with literally everything! And even better-it is less than $20!! Another great thing about this top is that it can be worn as a crop top, or a regular length top if you choose to pair it with high waisted bottoms.

I wore this outfit out to dinner for Fathers Day this year, and I received so many compliments! I chose to pair the white top with a bright pink skirt from the Red Dress Boutique for a pretty, summery look. I linked the exact style of the skirt above, however it sold out in the hot pink. The good news is that it also comes in periwinkle, which I think is just as beautiful! I may just have to buy it in that color as well, lol! Last but not least, I paired this outfit with one of my favorite pairs of high heels that I wear all the time.

I had so much fun taking this picture because all of our flowers had completely bloomed! I absolutely love having bright, colorful flowers this time of year, but unfortunately they didn't last too much longer after this!

Let me know if you have any questions! Have a wonderful Thursday everyone,

xo, Alisa

P.S. For all of you Nordstrom Cardholders, starting today through July 16th, you can get early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!! Happy Shopping!

Also, don't forget to check out the Red Dress Boutique's Home Collection which will be online starting July 10th!

Fourth of July Outfit Inspiration...

Dress: B Darlin // Wedges: Charlotte Russe // Stud Earrings: Kate Spade (in white) // Nail Polish: Essie (shade Marshmallow)

Earrings: Kendra Scott (Danielle) // Off the Shoulder Top: Revolve Clothing // Sandals: Jack Rodgers (my fav!) // White Skinny Jeans: Macy's (on sale!)

Tank Top: Old Navy // Flag Scarf: Old Navy (out of stock), similar here // Lace-up Sandals: Steve Madden (in shade "Gold Snake") // Jean Shorts: Guess (currently on sale!)

Now that the Fourth of July weekend is finally here, you are probably starting to think about what to wear to all of the outdoorsy events that you will be attending! There are always tons of events this weekend, whether it be a class reunion, a vacation, or a picnic with your family. For me, I have a huge extended family on my mom's side, so everyone is coming into town from all over the US (literally!). A few are even traveling from Canada. It is always so much fun having everyone together! That being said, this weekend I will be attending three to four events which all require different outfits. One event is more dressy, where the other three are more laid back! Finding the perfect outfit for the Fourth is always a challenge for me because I want to be patriotic without going overboard...does this happen to anyone else?!

On that note, I took the honor of putting together a little Fourth of July outfit inspiration for you all to hopefully make your outfit styling process an easier one! The first outfit that I chose is perfect for dressier events such as going out to a nice restaurant or to a more upscale party. I think that the nude wedges really pull the look together!

The second outfit board is actually my favorite one by far. First off, I am obsessed with my white skinny pants. They literally go with everything! Here I decided to pair them with a royal blue off the shoulder top (because who doesnt love either of those??? :) ), and it wouldn't be the perfect outfit without my favorite Kendra Scott earrings!

Lastly, I chose a very casual outfit that could be worn to a family picnic, to a parade, or to watch fireworks! Did I mention how in love I am with those gold lace up sandals?? They come in two other colors as well!

I really hope that everyone has a safe, fun, and fashionable holiday weekend!! Thank you so much for reading! xox

Watercolor Skirt...

Earrings: Kendra Scott // Jacket: Old Navy (old), similar here // Watercolor skirt: Red Dress Boutique (sold out), similar here and here // Wedges: Franco Sarto (old), similar here // Tank: Maurices

Happy Friday everyone! This week has seemed like the longest week ever..I think it is because I am getting antsy for my favorite holiday next weekend :) Each year for the 4th of July, all of my cousins come home and we always have the best time! All of us range from age eighteen to twenty four, so you can imagine how wild things can get! Plus, my family is verryyyy Italian, which adds so much more excitement! Being born into an Italian family is the best...there is never a dull moment!

I wanted to share this adorable watercolor skirt with you guys today, because it has been one of my favorite looks so far this summer! I wore this look a couple of weeks ago for my brother's senior mass at church. Believe it or not, I purchased this skirt way back in April, and it sat in my closet until the perfect opportunity to wear it came up. I love love love this skirt because there is a layer of tulle underneath (love!!!) which made the skirt look very full. I wanted to try to pull out the neon yellow from a few of the flowers in the skirt, so I paired it with my favorite style of tank top. It is just a basic tank top with thick straps, which makes it very flattering on anyone. Should I be embarrassed that I own it in fifteen different colors?? LOL!

One last note- I promise to get better about posting while my outfits are still in stock, so that you guys have access to purchase the items. Life has been super busy lately, but things should start to slow down soon so that I can focus on posting sooner and more frequently!

Thank you for reading!! xo

Summer Sandals!

I've always known that this blog post was a long time coming because let's be real...I LOVE summer shoes! It seems like every year I always have to buy new sandals for every occasion, and this year it was particularly wedge sandals! I love wearing wedges in the summer, period. Not only do I wear them to dressy events, but I will also wear them out to dinner, on vacation, even to the mall! So let's get started! Here are a few of my favorites that I have purchased for this summer.

MIA Black Gem Wedge Sandal (sold out, but similar here)

So, about these gorgeous wedges. They became very popular last summer, and for some reason I just never purchased them. After browsing the internet for them a few months ago I ended up finding a few pairs in stock. Initially, I had thought that I wanted to purchase them in the color "Natural," and I was sad to find out that they were sold out of my size in that color literally EVERYWHERE. I did end up finding them in black, which to be honest was more practical for me because I wear so many black/grey/white tones. And they ended up being on sale! These wedges have become one of my favorites because 1. Anywhere I am there is also some sort of sparkle, and 2. Although they seem dressy, they can easily be dressed down with jeans or a simple sundress.

Jessica Simpson Jadyn Wedge Sandals // also adorable here (in shade "Ambra")

I have been on the lookout for nude/tan wedges for the past month or so, because they simply go with everything. I have a few different summer-y events coming up very soon, so I thought that having a pair of neutral wedges would be perfect. And let me tell you my hunt for the perfect nude wedges lasted literally three months hah!! I am extremely picky when it comes to wedges for two reasons: comfort and style. When I pick them out, I usually never go with anything higher than a 5 in. heel because I do not trust myself in anything too high LOL. I initially had my heart set on this pair in the shade "Ambra," so I was very excited when I found them on sale at Nordstrom last week. But when I went to purchase them, they were sold out of my size and I was heartbroken! I have also had my eye on the Jadyn wedge for quite some time, so I purchased those instead. It has only been one week since I bought them and I have already worn them twice so they were definitely a great buy! I would recommend these shoes because they are easy to walk in and the twist style looks good with any outfit. And they come in black and brown as well!

Franco Sarto Brown Flat Sandals (could not find anywhere online) // similar pair here, love them in "Light Tan"

I came across these flat sandals at a TjMaxx store, and fell in love! I knew that I could not leave without buying them. They just seemed so versatile, and the color was gorgeous. Franco Sarto is also one of my favorite shoe designers, because all of his shoes seem so crisp! You would understand what I mean if you look at some of his designs online. They are simple, yet they can add so much to an outfit. Trust me, you'll be hooked! Anyway, I pretty much wear these ones all the time. They are perfect for running around, and they don't hurt your feet! I wore them galavanting around Atlanta last month, and my feet were comfy the entire time.

Sorry this was such a long winded post, but I just had to fill you all in about these awesome finds that I came across so far this summer. Let me know if you have any questions! I hope everyone has a good week :) Thank you so much for reading, xo.

Pixie Party...

Kendra Scott Earrings // Blouse-old, similar one here (plus, its ON SALE!!)
Pixie Pants // Bangle Bracelets // Clutch-sold out, also love this one // Watch

I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! I love Easter because it reminds me that warm weather is right around the corner, which also means sundresses everyday!!! I gave up sweets for Lent, and it has been so hard to get back to my normal meal routine after binging on chocolate all weekend, lol!

This year, I was contemplating whether I should wear a dress or pants for Easter because the temperature was only in the fifties. I decided to go with these super affordable pixie pants that I picked up at Old Navy last month because they can easily be dressed up, and the polka dot pattern is just so adorable! These pants come in TONS of different colors and patterns (I almost bought all of them haha). For me, these pants are perfect for my petite 5 ft 2 in frame because they hit right at my ankle, and there is no need to roll them at the bottom.

I paired these lovely pants with a super bright blouse to add the perfect pop of color. Lastly, I added a nude lipstick with a sparkly pink lip gloss on top for the perfect nude lip.

If anyone has tried these pants and also loves them, I would love to know!

xo,
Alisa

P.S. The pixie pants are on major sale right now!!

Springspiration...

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6

Happy Wednesday, Everyone!!

I am so very excited to present you with my VERY FIRST blog post!! I am ecstatic to be sharing with you my passion for good style, which I absolutely love putting so much time and effort into on a daily basis. Today I thought I would put together a little "springspiration" for you all, because I am sooo over this winter weather!!

Recently I've been scouting the internet for a good spring colored tote bag and I got so excited when I found this one by Tory Burch. The color is so gorgeous and it is large enough to carry all of my items. You all that know me well also know that I like to bring my entire life with me wherever I go, lol!

These cat eye sunglasses by Dolce & Gabbana are a huge trend this year, and they go with pretty much everything! I love the mix of tortoise print and gold, and that they are very feminine looking so I'll definitely be purchasing a pair for spring. Here is another pair I love that are similar yet a little more affordable :)

Thank you SO MUCH for reading & I hope you all stay tuned for more fashion inspiration! Have a happy hump day!

xoxo,
Ali
